1. General Refund Policy
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies only to new shared hosting accounts.
- Refunds apply to hosting fees only.
- Refunds are not available for domain registrations, renewals, transfers, setup fees, licenses, or add-ons.
2. Services Eligible for Refund
- Shared Hosting: Full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase.
- VPS Hosting: Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase (excluding setup fees).
- Dedicated Servers, SSL Certificates, Domain Names: Non-refundable once activated/provisioned.
3. Non-Refundable Services
The following services cannot be refunded under any circumstance:
- Domain Name Registration, Renewal, or Transfer
- SSL Certificates
- Dedicated Servers
- Control Panel & Software Licenses (cPanel, Plesk, etc.)
- Custom Services or Setup Fees
- Add-ons purchased with hosting plans
4. Cancellation of Services
- You may cancel your service anytime through the Ceylon Net Client Portal.
- Cancellations must be submitted before the next billing date to avoid automatic renewal.
- Prepaid services (monthly, annual, or custom billing cycles) are non-refundable after the refund window.
5. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- Refunds may take 7–10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank/payment provider.
- If your account is suspended/terminated for violating our Terms of Service, you will not be entitled to a refund.
6. Service Level Agreement (SLA) Credits
- Ceylon Net guarantees 99% uptime.
- If uptime falls below SLA, customers may request service credits (not cash refunds).
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
